At the last Virginia State Council meeting, several members stated that they would like to join the VVA Chapter 617 marching element in the first annual Veteran’s Day Parade in Manassas, VA. The parade officials have stated that any members of the VVA and AVVA in Virginia can join the chapter’s unit. To join the chapter, all VVA and AVVA marchers must check in at the VASI Inc. office at 9022 Mathis Ave, Manassas, VA between 8:00 and 8:30 AM on Nov. 7. After the check-in, the group will proceed to the chapter’s designated place in the parade. We hope to see you there

It's time again for our annual Christmas Dinner. The dinner is for our members and their families. We have also invited the Veterans from the VA Domiciliary in Martinsburg, WVA. All are welcome. We ask everyone to please bring a covered dish. For some of the Veterans from Martinsburg, this is the only Christmas they will have.
